Emily Brazee (Ensemble) graduated in 2010 with her BFA in Acting from Ithaca College. She is currently an improv/sketch comedy student at the UCB Theatre where she met her stellar sketch group “The Business End.” “Thank you NLA for the honor of being a collaborative molecule in this amazingly atomic experience from the very beginning.”
Kelly Colburn (Associate Media Design) is a recent graduate of NYU and Tisch School of the Arts. She studied at Playwrights Horizons Theater School where she took advantage of her interdisciplinary training by pursuing performance, design, directing and stage management opportunities. This is her first show with Built For Collapse.
Diana Egizi (Stage Manager) is an actor, director, & stage manager. Recently she performed in The Odyssey Project (dir. Jenny Koons) at Invisible Dog & stage managed Conni’s Avant Garde Restaurant at the Irondale Center. Currently she is devising a work based on the poetry of Greek writer Miltos Sachtouris. Eddie Gutierrez (Ensemble) Past projects: generating new work with Moisés Kaufman/Tectonic Theater Project; Nutcracker: Rated R; Twilight: the Musical. Ben Hobbs (Writer/Ensemble) is a NYC based performer/choreographer. Currently a cast member of Fuerzabruta, he is also co-founder of Built for Collapse. Recent credits include Orpheus and the Plastic Masquerade and Hamlet at Galapagos Art Space. NYU/Tisch.
Michael Krass (Costumes) has worked with writers Arthur Miller, Edward Albee, Christopher Durang, John Guare, Tony Kushner, Theresa Rebeck, Kenny Lonergan, Nicky Silver, Craig Lucas, Paula Vogel. He has worked with directors Moises Kaufman, Anne Bogart, Daniel Kramer, Michael Mayer, Dan Sullivan, Tina Landau, Mark Brokaw. And now, delightedly, Sanaz and Ben and Vincent, whom he taught.
Sophie Labelle (Ensemble) is currently in her junior year at New York University. Majoring in drama at the experimental theatre wing she is also a trained dancer and singer. She is thrilled and proud to be able to work with Built For Collapse and would like to send out as much happiness and love as possible.
EV Lazar (Set) is a director, designer, and recent NYU Tisch graduate. Her work has been featured at New York University, The University of Michigan, Galapagos Art Space and WOW Cafe Theatre. When EV is not knee-deep in work on a million shows, she can be found serving salmon on the Upper West Side (her proudest work).
Vincent Santvoord (Ensemble) is Associate Artistic Director of Built for Collapse, helps to manage Motel Room Studios in Long Island City, and is looking forward to performing Eugene O’Neill’s Sea Plays this winter in the tunnels under the Old Vic.
Jenny Beth Snyder (Lighting Designer) is a New York Based theater artist that focuses on supporting new works. After graduating from NYU Tisch School of the arts she’s gone on to Co-found Fresh Ground Pepper NYC, direct a world premier by Ayn Rand at 59 E 59th street, dance around Astor Place in We Walk, We Stop and lighting design for some amazing new works including Nuclear Love affair.
Dan Stearns (Assistant Director) is a stage director and designer. Directing credits: William Finn’s Falsettos, the company-devised Designer Plastic, Charles Mee’s The Bacchae 2.1, and José Rivera’s The Crooked Cross. Currently assisting on Young Jean Lee’s Lear (dir. Rachel Chavkin) and The Butterfly (dir. Brad Malow). Upcoming design: Theater in Asylum’s Frankenstein.

Colleen Toole (Sound Designer) is a sound designer and director who has worked on numerous shows in NYC.
